We won in spite of our hometown having been wrecked by Harvey, including some of the kids' family's and friends' homes, and whole parts of major roads and neighborhood still under water and many without power.
We won in spite of Zona having played a game and the good guys playing our first.
We won because we were the better team.
We won in spite of playing a P5 team on the road. I don't care how good Zona is or isn't. P5 team on the road.
While there's plenty to be concerned about, there's also plenty to be encouraged about. Mainly, we were the better team and our kids didn't let the all that's happened to Houston and them personally keep them from winning.
