New Strength Coach?

Craig Naivar recently followed Yancy McKnight on twitter.

McKnight is the Iowa St strength coach. He came to Iowa State from Rice the same year Herman did. Prior to Rice, he was the head strength coach at La Tech.

So McKnight has coached with Herman at two schools, apparently following Herman once before. Naivar and McKnight coached at Rice together in 2007-08.
