Got confirmation on who showed up this weekend for Houston's game against Arizona. Most of the targets that were expected to show up did indeed show up. You can find the complete list in our visitor preview thread.

Of those named in that thread I'm told the majority did show up.

Commits Ronald Nunnery and Da'Juan McMillian were both expected in but didn't make it.

Chidozie Nwankwo and Malik Hornsby are a pair of 2020 prospects that were also expected to be on hand but didn't make it in.

The staff continued to work on Phillip Ossai and David Gbenda to try to get them on campus but neither player was expected to be in and the staff was unable to sway them late.

Notes

I'm told that Houston (TX) Westbury Christian 2019 offensive lineman Brant Banks had a good visit. He stayed the entire game and talked with offensive line coach Randy Clements after the game.

In addition to Houston, Banks has offers from Baylor, Air Force, Boston College, Cal, Nebraska, Pittsburgh and Tulane to name a few. We are working on getting a full update from Banks.

Another 2019 offensive line target in Rodquice Chaney also reportedly had a very good visit. I'm told that the staff feels they are in a very good spot with him. He is a name to watch along the offensive line.

In addition to Houston, Chaney also holds offers from Arizona, Colorado State, Louisiana Tech, Missouri and Tulane to name a few. We're working on getting an update form Chaney as well.

Stay Tuned.
