Not sure how many of you knew Carol Risinger, but she was the Spirit of Houston secretary/admin/secretary/“band mom” up until a couple years ago when she retired. She was battling cancer, got it under control for a little bit, then it came back aggressively. She passed away earlier this week from her cancer, and it was definitely a huge loss for all of us that were in the Sprit of Houston. I met her when I was in the drum line in the mid-2000’s, and she was truly an amazing person and one of the sweetest people ever.
She was a great Cougar and will truly be missed. RIP Ms. Carol!
