Just rewatched the first half.. here are our offensive possessions:

1- After a quick 1st down, Lark bad drop on 3rd down

2- Two short gains, 3rd down pass deflects off the WRs foot for Tulsa INT

3- Overcame two penalties and a 1st and 30 with two long runs by TWill and then a 3rd down run by King. Next play is the long TD pass to Corbin

4- Convert long pass over the middle to Brooker. Shot to the end zone on 1st down broken up. Run for a short gain on 2nd. Shot to the end zone on 3rd down that hit Bryson in the hands but dropped. Shot to the end zone on 4th down that hit Corbin in the breadbasket and dropped. Turnover on downs.

5- Short run, short screen where Lark fell down because his feet weren’t moving and King lead him. Pass over the middle to Stevenson converts on 3rd down. Swing pass to TWill on 1st down and he gets rocked and fumbles.

6- After the Deontay Anderson strips the Tulsa WR in space, Patrick Carr gets free for 45 yards but the run is called back for holding. On 3rd down King throws a bad INT to a LB who dropped into coverage.

7- King runs for 12 on 1st down. Completion for 15 to Smith on the next play. Shot to Smith up the middle results in pass interference. Holding on 1st down, two runs to get to 3rd and 10, King escapes to pocket and goes untouched into the endzone and XP puts Coogs up 1

8- Run Patrick Carr two times and again on 3rd down where he gets free for a 30 yard run. Overthrow to Brooker on followed by a couple really nice Mulbah runs for consecutive 1st downs. Short pass to Brooker on first down, False start followed by a run for no gain on 2nd down. Tried to pump the screen and go long but Tulsa had it defended so throw the screen for no gain. Field goal converts.

Overall, my only real gripe from a play call / coaching perspective is the three long shots to endzone on our fourth possession when we’re just 5-10 yards out of field goal range. Most everything else was players just needing to execute better.

I also wanted Major to call a timeout and get the ball back to end the first half, but I can understand wanting to get in the half after making so many mistakes and feeling fortunate to be up 4 at the half.
