Mark D'Onofrio. I just watched the 4th quarter again and the defensive play is a thing of beauty.....especially our two game changing take-a-ways.
The first one is a LB loop around blitz and he executes it perfectly getting to the QB for a sack and strips the ball. UH recovers and scores a TD on the turnover. The second play is Deontay's Int when he jumps the route. Correct me if I am wrong but I do not remember our LBs/Ss doing that in the first four games.
It is early dayz from a menu of delayed blitzes but if our DC can continue these types of plays we have a shot at the whole enchilada.
